Skippin N Asset

One door closes and another opens. I think one of the most difficult stages of life is when a young rider goes off to college.  The beloved horse is left behind, and needs to find another young rider to bring along.  This is Reuben's situation. Mom is crying, but knows there is someone out there looking for a Reuben to cherish.

Skippin N Asset is a 14 yr. old Appendix QH gelding who stands 16.2hh. He is sweet, and adores people. Reuben has done dressage for 2 yrs., was English and Western Pleasure prior to that, and always was in the ribbons at local and state 4-H shows. He is well-mannered and gentle on the ground, excellent for vet and farrier, and trailers well.

One year ago, he had a tendon injury, but ultrasound shows that it has healed, and he is back to work. He is doing walk/trot now with no problems, and is ready to do more. Unfortunately, since his rider is at college, and Mom has her own horse, he needs a new family to give him the time and attention that he needs.. Reuben is located at Birch Ledge, Colchester, Vt., and is free to a good home.  Contact is vt.cathode@gmail.com for more information.
